Using multi-row-marker - Auto check current row when click on row

Hi i'm using multi-row-marker grid so that when i click the checkbox at start of a row it selects the row and I can then select multiple rows usign the checkboxes.

I am trying to use onRowClicked to also check the current row and make it selected however the row does not become selected.
