3.0 beta 2

Licensing of Beta1

If you're not licensing this under any OS style license (GPL, QPL etc) then don't you think it's a little cheeky to post a beta for testing?

I don't think so. I have personally 'Beta Tested' about 10 retail program from companies like M$, Borland, Symantec, Ashton Tate (for those old enough to know who they were), Lotus etc and I was not allowed to use the final release of the product past x number of days (the number of days differed depending on the company). If I wanted to use the program after testing I needed to purchase a retail copy. So allowing a public beta of the program is the same as a 'try before you buy' approach that many other companies offer for thier products. If you try it out and like it, then I will assume that you will purchase it. I know my company will (again). Our clients have absolutely loved the improvements in our application since we started using the grid last year. If you are using it for a commercial reason, then it should be a no brainer to purchase it.
