is ActiveWidgets Grid 1.0 free software?

According to the following, ActiveWidgets Grid 1.0.2 is free software. Is 2.0 also covered under the GPL? Where can I download my free copy?

Robert,

ActiveWidgets Grid 1.0.2 was released under GPL and under commercial license while ActiveWidgets 2.0 is available under commercial license only. There is no free version of ActiveWidgets 2.0 and there are no plans to provide free version in the future.

Check - http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html

I do not care how Alex interprets it. If you fall under umbrella mentioned by GPL, this software (version 1.0.2) is FREE for you. Of course you need to bind with GPL limitations.

Hope it answers your question.

Let me know if we can form a group of people who are interested in forking and maintaining GPL version i.e. code derived from 1.0.2.
