MultiSelect not working on XP Pro

Is anyone else having a problem with Multiselect not working on XP? When I try and select the second row it opens a new instance of the IE browser and never selects the second row. The first row stays selected. FireFox seems to work fine, as does Mozilla, it'e only IE 6.0.280 that is having the problem and only on XP. I tested it on Win2000 Pro and it worked fine with the same browser version.

Thanks,

Does this example work OK with your configuration?

If yes, can you please send me the full code of the page where you have a problem. Are you using frames/iframes? There was a very strange case some time ago which looks similar to what you describe

No, the above example does the same thing, the first Ctrl-Click does nothing, the second Ctrl-Click causes a new browser window to open.

Jim,

is there anything special in your PC configuration? I tried 3 different XP/IE6 machines and cannot replicate this behavior.

Nothing special and I have tries it on 2 different machines both running XP/Pro and IE 6. FireFox works fine on both of them but not IE. The only think that might be different between my computers and yours is that since I do a ton of JavaScript programming I have the JS Debugger turned on. I will test with it turned off to see if it makes any difference, but I don't think it will.

It turns out that the behavior is not associated with the grid, it is something in IE. I get the same behavior on any web page. This is strange, but at least it's not a bug with the grid.

Thanks everyone. Once I figure out how to fix the problem I'll post the answer.

I knwo I'm late to chime in here, but here's an article on a similar problem, but in reverse. Shift-click never opens a new window in this case. Is it maybe the same root problem?

Thanks for the assistance but it doesn't look like this is the case. I have all the correct DLL's and the reg key for the interface is correct. I did another seach through the MS Knowledge Base and found nothing on this. It's so odd that it is happenning on both my work and home computers.
