How to Detect Which Header is Clicked

var obj = new AW.UI.Grid;
var myheaders=new Array(5);
myheaders[0]="Header 1";
myheaders[1]="Header 2";
myheaders[2]="Header 3";
myheaders[3]="Header 4";
myheaders[4]="Header 5";

obj.setSize(500, 250);

obj.setCellText(function(i, j){return j + "." + i});
//obj.setHeaderText("header1","Header 2");
//grid.setHeaderModel(myheaders);
obj.setHeaderText(myheaders);
obj.setColumnCount(5);
obj.setRowCount(100);
obj.setCellEditable(true);
obj.onHeaderClicked = function(){ alert("Header ? clicked");return true};

document.write(obj);

I want to know Which Header is clicked and its Sorting Order, so that I can customize the the sql query to be fired in the backend.

To check which header is clicked, see the example at http://www.activewidgets.com/aw.ui.grid/header-footer-mouse-events.html

For sorting order, see http://www.activewidgets.com/aw.ui.grid/sort-direction.html and http://www.activewidgets.com/aw.ui.grid/sort-column.html
