What do you mean by next version? Is this in Version 1.0? Is there some place that outlines the features in Version 1.0?

When will the next version be released? This feature would really help me out :)

Will 2.0 be able to do something like this?

Freeze two left columns and three top rows (ala Excel's Freeze Pane).

(It would extra cool if I could also freeze four bottom rows which I'd use as totals, but if not, I could move these totals to the top as a workaround.)
