Mr. Alex. pl. clarify Urgently - Standard Edition & Professional

1. What is the difference between Standard Edition & Professional.
What is the additonal benefit in procuring a Professional Edition ? (ie. by paying $950 instead of $395)

2. What Edition is given for a Site License ? A Standard Edition or Professional Edition ?

3. If I purchase now a Site License, do I get Version 2.5 or Version 2.0 ?

4. How do I port Version 2.0 to Version 2.5 ?

sorry for the confusion. Originally I was planning to split some functionality between 'standard' and 'professional' editions but at the end it had not been implemented. Currently there is only one edition ('standard') and it will stay like this with the future AW 2.5 release (I will drop 'standard edition' from the product name). All new features will be available in the single new version and current subscribers will get it as a free upgrade.

There is no Professional Edition at the moment and will not be in AW 2.5

Site license is the Standard Edition (only one).

You will get 2.0 now and free upgrade to 2.5 when it is released

AW 2.5 is backward compatible with only few minor exceptions. There will be migration guide when AW 2.5 is released.

I bought a license for 2.0 last year. Am I going to be able to upgrade to 2.5?

AW 2.5 will be released in November. Anyone who is buying 2.0 now or bought 2.0 in the last 12 months will get free upgrade to 2.5. If your 12 months upgrade subscription had expired you can renew it for another 12 months for USD 197.50 (developer license) -
