Sorting is enabling the disabled checkboxes

I have some checkboxes in my grid which are disabled based on certain criteria. But once I apply sorting on the grid ny disable checkboxes gets enabled again.
Can anybody please help on this issue.

Sorting triggers grid repaint - make sure that your code does not rely on keeping state in DOM elements (which are replaced during repaint).
