Automatically size columns according to longest entry in the column?

I have done a search of the forum on this, and found a few things, but after reading them it gets me more confused. And I am not sure which way would be the correct way.

But I would like to have the columns resize themselves to the longest entry in that column automatically when the grid is opened.

Can anyone show me?
