Caching in IE and not in firefox

i have a problem that i'm changing a grid from different frames and then refreshing the grid so that it will call a servlet to refresh the grid data, the problem is that in IE it uses the old cached data and not the new data that is called from the servlet, but in fire fox it works fine

This is also happening in version 2 as well. The only way that I have been able to resolve it to date is to disable caching on IIS, which is not a feasible solution.
