how to store data into database through grids

i'm not able to store data into the database through grids i.e i can't update data but i can only retrieve data.
please help me out

Update the XML through the AW.XML.Table and then send the XML to the backend server through HTTP and update there.

The Grid doesn't (and shouldn't) update backend databases automatically.
