V2 B3 add/delete row functions serial var issue

serial is set to =1000
Can anyone tell me why?

P.S.
I know it is a row index, but when I set it to be serial=rows, the numbering of rows gets messed up. Why? Can this be fixed?

Your questions are VERY VERY vague.

I got rid of
var serial=1000;
line in the page "add remove row.htm", and now I add a row with just
obj.addRow(rows);
So the grid numbering works fine now.
