ActiceWidgets data IsLanf example does not work on IE

We are using AW 2.0.1 for grid rendering.The Grid works fine with remote xml means when we are accessing that in form of xml from the server. But when I try to open the grid example xml-data-island.htm it does not open and instead gives Javascript error on line number 97.
The same example is able to run on fireFox perfectly.
Does library uses the ActiveXObject if the xml is coded inside JSP.?
Please help us how can we run this application instead.We tried to run the same on IE on a LapTop and it was running perfectly but not on desktops.
