removing images

Hi all

I want code that would allow me to remove images from any web page. Web pages that are image rich tend to take long to open up, so I want to remove the images and just have those buttons with the x on in their stead, but I want to be able to right click and select "show picture" in order to view it. Is there anyone who can help me on this?
