Challeges with IE windows XP IE 6.0 SP2

Being a frequent tech forum user - I aplogize in advance if this topic has already been addressed by the forum - I was unable to readily located it using the provided search tool (please provide reference).

Scenario:
As an evaluation of the activewidget grid control ver 1.0 I have used it to display data from a ms access database that tracks workflow.

A piece of ASP code handels getting the data from the database and creates a 2-D array that is then used to form the rows of the grid. Similary to the provided asp coded provided with the download.

The grid works wonderfully and displays using Win 2K IE 6.0 SP 1 and exceeds expectations; however, I was unable to get the grid
to display using Windows XP IE 6.0 SP2 - although other ASP driven events on the website did work.

In addition, I was unable to display the grids using WinXP IE 6.0 SP2 on your website www.activewidgets.com.

After getting some clues searching the activewidget forum - I enabled winXP 6.0 Internet options-> Advance (Tab)
"Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" and "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid."

Once the computer was restarted - "whooo hoo" I was able to view the grids provided on your website (although several of the demos did not work); however, was unable to view the grid located on the developed ASP page.

For the grid to be viable - It will need to work in both environments.

-->>>>> Any ideas on how to resolve this challenge would be of greatly appreciated.

Has anyone else run into this?
Does activewidget version 2.0 solve this problem?

Thanks in advance Randel
