Vertical & Horizontal Scroll Bars not appearing

When I use check boxes in the grids the horizontal and vertical scroll bars didn’t appears. But they start appearing, when I click on any of the sorting button of any column. I am facing problem when the data appears 1st time.

Which beta version of 2.0 are you using? What browser?

Which version is being used on the home page demo?

Whenever I resize the columns so that it fits within the window, both scrollbars disappear. I only expect the horizontal scrollbar to disappear.

When I resize the columns to try to bring back the horizontal scrollbars, a very nasty bug appears... screws up the mouse!

I'm using FF 1.5

I don't know what version was on the page when you tried it. I don't even know what version is there now for the demos, I assume that it is beta 3.
I asked the question because you said you got this problem when you added check boxes to a grid, you saw no scroll bars. This tells me that you are running this locally so I wanted to know what version you are running at home to do your testing? There was problems with FireFox 1.5 and AW beta 2. These issues are supposed to be fixed in beta 3 and so far I have not seen any anomolies in FF 1.5 (this is what I have been using all day on my new stuff). I do not use check boxes in grids though so I would not have encountered your issues.

Hi Jim,

I was just testing the demo grid on the home page of this web site.

It's buggy, even with FF 1.0.7... I just tried on a different computer and it has problems when you try to resize (shrink) the columns so that the entire grid fits within the window. the mouse gets stuck on the last column and doesn't let go.

However, with FF 1.0.7, the bottom scrollbar disappears as it should... leaving only the right (vertical) scrollbar. Mouse gets stuck... buggy!

It works fine with IE6.
